Integration Services

The JCFS Integration Worker will assist you and your family in becoming part of the Winnipeg Jewish community.

In cooperation with the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg and other Jewish community organizations, JCFS

plays a part in helping newcomers make new friends in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Opportunities

to participate in community activities and events are encouraged.

Some social and educational events are planned for

adults, while others are organized for the whole family.

You will be introduced to the resources available to

Jewish families such as: schools, synagogues, children

and youth programs, camps, kosher facilities, etc.

JCFS organizes seminars and workshops on topics that

are of interest to newcomers. These sessions are offered

free of charge. Topics chosen are designed to make the transition into Canadian life easier.

We are located at the Asper Jewish Community Campus.  Please call our offices at 477-7430 to book an appointment or to be directed to the Resettlement or Integration workers.

One way to help others in our community is by volunteering your time.  Sometime in the future you may want to become a volunteer and help strengthen the lives of others in our community. Contact the Manager of Volunteer Services at 477-7430 to find out how you can become involved.
